Little Strawn, TX. made the USA Today. A place that still plays 6 man football. This is where my deer lease is. Also mentioned is Mary's Cafe.:thumbsup: Best Chicken Fried Steak in the whole country. It's not to far from you DF. You need to make a Sunday drive and go there.

The Strawn Greyhounds host the Gordon Longhorns in a backyard battle between schools so small they play six-man football. The schools are tiny, but the appetite for football is big.

Yeah, Mary's is one highway over from me, and I go there once every week or two for take-out.:) They know my voice on the phone;).
They also make great hamburgers and they have a good grilled shrimp plate- oh, and the best iced tea in the county, and good desserts and......

They do have really good seafood. Suprising since they are out in the middle of no where. I recommend their Oysters on the half shell. Yummmmmmmm
