I have a bunch of 1 x 4 5/8ths lumber that I would like to glue together for 6 5/8ths supers. I have a biscuit joiner that I could use to make the joint a little stronger. Or I could just glue them. What would work the best?

The biscuit joining would be stronger, but I think it is unnecessary. If you have some good bar clamps, use a quality wood glue, and don't over-tighten to squeeze the glue out, and the resulting board should be plenty strong.

I have used rabbit joints, glued and stapled (dont throw anything away) then when making the box I stager the joints.
Biscuits will not make it any stronger than the glue joint itself. They might help with alignment during clamping. Edge glue joints are as strong as they come.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll just glue them. I planning on building about 30 mediums this winter to use next year.
