Everybody just settle down!
"If this had been an actual emergency poll, the Test Poll you just voted on would have been an actual poll followed by official information, news or instructions."

Is the world coming to an end on Nov 3rd? I wish someone would have givin me a little further notice! I just paid to fill up my deer feeders and I can't use them until the 7th. Nothing ever go's my way.
I vote for Captain Elizabeth Swan too. At least Keira Knightley verison anyway.

you guys that voted for the first three test boxes will get exactly what you ask for, and deserve for that matter. in this day and age if you are voting for anything other than the bottom test box you must have your heads pretty far up in the clouds or pretty deep in the sand.

Wow! I just came back to delete this thread and it's taken off. Guess I'll leave it for you all to play with and let the moderator delete it if he wants. Just might out do the "Delete Me" thread. :D
I checked all boxes and voted, I guess it works.

The raccoons and groundhogs are using the feeders until then? They'll eat more feed than the deer do if the vermin have their way.

Don't have any groundhogs in my area, but the coons are everywhere, and your right. They eat more corn than anything. I had one family of 5 last year that came out every night 30 minutes before dark and the would clean house if the deer hadn't yet.

My neighbor raises deer, and it's a constant battle keeping coons and groundhogs out of the feeders.

All 5 only came out one night, right? ;)

Well...two made it back for a second night.
My boss just got his first deer delivered. He just started raising deer too.

Did I pass the test?
Depends. Did you pick test, test, test, or test?

A word to the wise - the fence is NOT to keep the deer in. The fence is to keep everything OUT.
The neighbor's deer herd was getting too big, so his boy put up a pen this summer at the boy's farm, and moved several excess does over to start a new herd at that farm. A week ago, they took a 200 class buck over and put it in with the does.
When they built the pen, the fence crossed a little swale, and there was about a 6 inch gap under the fence where there was kind of a shallow drainage ditch.
You guessed it.
Yesterday afternoon, 2 dogs wriggled under the fence. One dog got shot, and the other got away. The dog was a mix breed that looked like it had some pitbull in it - it had a choker chain on it, but no tags.
Four does and the monster buck dead or dying when the dog got shot. Last night I butchered 5 deer. And yes, my shoulder is killing me today from skinning the deer.

Man that sucks!!
He did a good job on his fence. Not sure about other states but here you have to have a Wildlife Biologist come out and inspect every pin. Then the Game Warden comes in and has to inspect it all too before they will allow you get them. When he went to pick them up. They had to call the Texas Parks and Wildlife and get apporval to transport the deer. They got some appoval # and were told when the could travel. Pretty serious stuff.

I don't think they are they psychotic here. I know they have to get a special permit to own the deer, but they aren't allowed penning up any wild deer. I think the farm the boy lives on is still in his Dad's name. For all I know, they may be able to use one permit to have two separate deer pen locations.
To add insult to injury, in order to sell deer out of state, they have to get every dead deer tested for chronic wasting disease. It doesn't matter if a dog kills the deer, if they shoot the deer to cull it from the herd, or if it drops over dead from sickness - they have to cut off the head, and pay $30 per head to have it tested for the wasting disease. So that was another $150 on top of losing the deer.

If Chuck sleeps like that... what does he shower with? A gun on a rope?

Barry, is it too late to change my vote?

Chuck Norris doesn't shower, he only takes blood baths.

I didn't realize Chuck Norris even had to USE a gun.
This is a good example why multiple choice tests are easier than, say, essay tests.

It's pretty rare Tom.
Though my philosophical studies of Chuck there were a few occasions that he did pull a gun. The perp would say "Oh my god he has a ......" it is widely believed they never got to say gun. Because by that time they had recieved 3 round house kicks to the face.
