Drone Yards?

We are raisers of queen bees. Mty wife and I try to raise 300 or so a period. We want to raise MH, Cordovan and the YELLOW bees. We have some drone comb and several yards. How is the best way to set up a drone colony or 3 on where we want to raise the different races? Also when you stock mating nucs does it matter their race?

Any help is appreciated. The Yellow races seemm to be wanted in this area. THANKS!!!
