I have a young queen in a nuc. Today I took her out to mark her. After she was marked I placed her back on the comb and she stuck her head and most of her body into a worker sized cell. If I had not seen this I would have never found that queen. She didn't look any different than a worker in a cell. She stayed like that for about a minute or so. I was just wondering if any of you have seen this. And this could explain why some shy queens can never be found. Or is this common with young queens. A side note I haven't had any trouble finding this queen she is not too runny.
