What is the best way to move queen cells?
I need to move queen cells to hives several hours drive away.
I was thinking of taking frames with rows of queen cells, put them in a regular hive box with bees/frames, and moving it like I would a beehive.
Any thoughts? Thanks

I know of people that move them in an ice chest with a hot water bottle in it. If you have the resources to do so, move them in a nuc with nurse bees as you said. Moving them in a box of frames of bees sounds safer to me, less jolting around of the queen cells so less chance of damage. Depends also on the age of the cells. If they are ready to emerge then they are not as unstable.

The best way is to place each cell in a cell protector cage such as the JZ BZ and then carry them in a JZ BZ shipping carton. Look in the Dadant catalog page 58. Keep them warm by wrapping in a towel and not using your vehicle AC or the cooler/hot water bottle method.

And have someone carry them in there hands above lap to absorb bumps. If they have not hardened off yet they can be damaged easily.
