IMHO Varroa is most likely a factor in CCD but how is it that
a: Most colonies have some amount varroa and survive year after year
b: The hive with CCD is empty of dead bees
c: Other colonies of bees will not take the stored honey or pollen from
a hive that has CCD
I think that there is more to CCD than this explanation. This is just too pat of an explanation. This may be a good 'scare story' but this is just too
too easy an answer.:doh:

I have been working with honeybees for too long . To say I have lost many honeybees and to say it has been a hard Lesson . But I have found a cure that works for me but it seems It falls on deaf ear . I have a webpage that shows some of the problem I had . It is just like the mites they are Like Lise two us human . And if we have lies the first thing we do Is clean up . And not live in a dirty surround . So I do not know what to think of the advice that I have been given in the past about mites . I have tried some of this advice and it did not work for me . I listened to what people have to say and then go home and try if it work I keep doing it if it does not work I stopped doing it .
