Aloha from the Big Island

Aloha, my name is Terri and I've recently jumped right in to beekeeping. I have 3 hives (one is a recent salvage from my neighbors house). I live on a 9 acre organic tropical fruit farm called Kumu Aina and host Wwoofer's on my land (if you're a member). It seems I just can't get enough of bees and I'm somewhat obsessed or mesmerized by them. I want to learn more about tropical beekeeping.

Bees in Paradise. What a concept!

Much experience to had here! Not from me :cry: The closest we get to tropical conditions is a coupla days in July or August.
