nuc update

Back on the 27th of june I made a nuc by using 1 frame of eggs and 1 frame of brood and a few frames of pollen and honey with a couple of frames with wax foundation. This was all put in a ten frame box and allowed to make there own queen in the mean time I have put in 3 frames of capped brood just to boost the the population a little. I am glad to report as of yesterday they not only made there queen but she is laying like gangbusters every free cell open has an egg in it and they have finally decided to build the foundation and she is laying in it before they can finish the cells. I couldn't find her to see how she looks but thats alright. If she's laying like that in the spring they will have to be split.:D
