I have a national hive, I started with a nuc 4 weeks ago (ish) and on my last inspection there were 2 and a half frames left to be drawn out in the brood body.
I imagine then that on my next inspection I will need to add a super and get them drawing out the foundation .

do I put all the undrawn frames in the super? or just a couple of frames at a time with dummy boards either side?

busy little things arnt they?

I would fill the box with undrawn frames. If you are adding a box of the same size, you can swap a drawn frame for an undrawn frame. Sometimes it helps them move into the new box faster.

nice one, as I thought they were ready for it today.

One last question then....perpendicular to the brood frames or parallell?
