megabee problem

If anyone could advise it would be much appreciated. In a new colony I am using the megabee protein patties and noticed a mass of little white worms in the patties this morning on top of the frame just under the cover. I scraped it out, and them- best I could.
Does anyone have any advice?

you just ran into the reason we dount use patties in warm weather.... Maggots, wax worms, or most likely Small hive beattle......

leave tehm without anything for a cpl days to clean up the mess, then switch to suger water with mega bee mixed in if you like.... Most of us use just plain sugar water.
