As wet as they look I would suspect they got dowsed with something. Barrel feeding? Sprayed at a water or feeding source?
Is it on incoming bees, outgoing bees, or both?

Those bees are the ones that you squashed between the boxes when you stole brood from them 3 days ago. You probally had burr comb between the boxes with honey in it and they were squashed there.

i wondered if those were leftovers that got injured or killed when i was in there rootin around. that was ....2 days ago? i figured they would have done there house keeping by now... but i guess it takes them a while to get things back in order.
i guess its just alarming to see 15 bees dead ones out front.... hard to keep in mind there are 10's of thousands still left inside

Robbers often look shiny and wet. Do you see any wrestling at the entrance?

I have in the past. I can identify robbing fights. entertaining to watch the girls beat up on the trespassers.

Some of your bees got wet. How they got wet, I don't know, but soaked bees often don't make it back in.
