New with a question

Hi All!

I'm a first time beekeeper. I've had my bees for 4 weeks now. I have a question already. It has been rainy here (and humid) all day. I went out to where I keep my hives and noticed that there area quite a few bees at the entrance just hanging around. Does this sound like they may not like being cooped up all day because of the rain? Both hives are doing it. I really hope they aren't thinking of swarming, although I don't think this is the case. I have 2 hive bodies on and they have lots of room.

They will tend to do that when it is lousy weather. Just don't get your nose too close to the entrance. There is always what I call "the crazy bee" that will just for the heck of it fly out and nail you. Don't know why this is but there is always one. :lookout:
