What a day yesterday. We had 80+ mph straght line winds follawed by heavy rains. One hive with 2 deeps and 2 supers toppled and outer and/or inner covers blown off the other 5. Got the one hive reset and covers back on the other ones, but the girls were NOT happy!
I'll wait a week or so to get into the hives to check them but I think they'l be alright.
I had another hive toppled in a storm 2 years ago,with 2 deeps and 4 supers. It turned out ok.
I think I need to find a spot that doesnt get windy!
