Powdered sugar?

Is there a best and worse time for treating your hives with the powdered sugar with the blower?

The best would be when they are broodless but the beauty of powdered sugar dusting is that it can be done at any time during the year, even with supers on if need be.

You will get a decent drop and impact the multiplication of the varroa if you dust 4 times, 5-7 days apart.
