I noticed in my hives today that there are two type of capped cells that I was able to notice. one was flattened out wrinkle paper and appears to be on cells with honey and the others where "domed" shape... which to mee prolly means brood?

I know a picture is a thousand words but i simply have no means to take one of what I am talking about.

I think of drone brood cappings as dome-shaped. Worker cell cappings aren't a whole lot rounder than honey cappings, but look very different. Pure wax on honey vs. wax and pollen on brood, is my recollection...

Regular worker cappings look papery and yellow and turn more brown over time. Honey cappings look waxy and translucent.
