Today when I was going through my hives, I noticed a worker bee doing a figure 8 dance while shaking her abdomen a few times in a timely manner.... Is there a meaning to this?

Bee dance communication is so outdated. Scientists in Belgium, using electron microscopes have discovered tiny etchings at the bottom of bee comb cells.
