trapout should a try it?

noticed the tree in front yard has a feral colony

would it be worth the effort to try and do a trapout?

tree will not be removed

have 2 hives 5 miles from here wouldnt mind having another

when u do a trapout doesnt the queen die? and the internal colony collapse?

im inexperienced, but ill tell you what i would do. if they arent hurting anything, id leave them alone, and catch the swarms off of them. if for some reason they must go, and the tree stay, i would try the trapout for a learning experience. if you are getting rid of the tree, then you can do a cutout if your trapout doesnt work. you cant ask for a better location for experimenting. ;)
