So i got my two nucs today and transferred them into their final resting place. One of the nucs transferred over just fine and no issue, the second one seem to have an attitude problem... These bees are Minnesota Hygienics from Lake Thompson Honey. They attitude bees didn't want to leave their nuc after transferring the frames to the hive bodies, so I got as many as I could out of that nuc body and left the rest there for the night, hopeing they eventually find thier new home. I didn't take the time and inspect the frames like I should of, but I am going to do a good inspection in a day or two after the bees calm down and settled in.
Wll its been 3 hours since I transferred them, its 11 pm and I went outside to look to see if i left anything outside and noticed that there a clumps of bees around on the box and on the fence and everywhere i looked.... this typical after a transfer? I imagine if these bees don't find thier way to the hive body they will prolly die off... not a huge loss i guess.
