I removed the queen cage after giving her a couple days to "vacate" the property. There was about 4 inches of "hanging comb" that dropped off into the hive as I was removing the cage. It fell and became lodged between the frames and I did not want to harass the hive any further and remove it. Is this going to be a problem, or will the bees fix/adjust to this comb? Thanks!

Naw it won't be a problem. You can cut it out later when you open the hive again. You should inspect in about a week so see if she is laying though.
Good luck.

next time you are in the hive, remove that bit of comb. It will screw up the bees ability to work the frames on either side.

If that natural comb is white it indicates a honey flow!

I would remove it next change you get. It may get incorporated in ways you will regret later.
