There are two types of HFCS, 42 and 55. Which do ya'll use.

Do you feed it straight or dilute with water?

Any info appreciated.

When I used to feed HFCS, I used 55. Stopped using HFCS a couple years ago after reading several reports indicating that it reduced the life span of bees and other problems associated with it. I think regular sugar syrup is the best artificial bee carbohydrate one can use.

I know some commercial beekeepers that use liquid sucrose to get away from toxins.
I make my own syrup using C & H Pure Cane sugar and mix it according to the needs of the hive.
If you buy the bulk syrup you might consider diluting it only 10% by filling the bottom of your receiving tank so that it mixes as the tank is filled.
Bulk loads have a minimum shippment like 2,000 poubds.
Good Luck,

Sorry, I don't use it as it is poor nutrition which results in unhealthy bees.
