Well the rest of the world is talking about her...anyone else seen the video?
Amazing, profound message.
Now they found one other recording from a charity CD, Cry Me a River. Smokin.

I have saw the video. The womans singing is incredible Guess it should teach us all not to judge a book by its cover.

Its heartbreaking that she is what 47 or 48 and never had a chance to show off her talents before in the way that she has now.
Her life could have been amazingly different than it is now, she lives alone with her cat and has never been married, by her own accounts she has never even been kissed.
A talent like that could have put her in a totally different position.
I just wish her the best now.

For anyone who hasn't seen her.

There is no doubt that she has talent, but I think the most amazing thing is that everyone thought this was going to be like a scene from one of the early American Idol episodes each year - that she was completely dilussional, weird, and doomed to fail.

As was said before - don't judge a book my it's cover - or by it's akwardness. I wish her nothing but the best and hopes she finds happiness without heartache.

I love personal triumph and I love underdogs. I'd stand in a very long line to thank her personally for reminding me that, sometimes, we're just wrong about what we think of others. She taught a valuable lesson in one song.

The best part, for sure, was that the whole format of these shows IMO is to humiliate the folks who aren't great. So I love this one because she so NOT a star in the way they're looking for. I'm happy for her that she gets her shot. Which is what the point is supposed to be!

Give her a clean shave and she might not be a bad looking guy. :)
