Pollen and Nectar

Is there a correlation between pollen coming into the hive and a nectar flow in the area? My bees seem like they are very "pollen happy" right now, but the nectar cargo is a little harder to see.

Do bees usually carry pollen and nectar at the same time, or is it usually one or the other?

I understand bees will only carry one or the other, depending of course on
what their days work assignment is. :lookout:

Pollen carriers have their leg sacs full !
Nectar carriers have their bellies full !

Bee Keeping is just a expensive hobby !!

some plants are more pollen source than nectar source, so legs can be filled up with pollen before stomach is full, but bees carry both.
