Is anyone out there using one of these ? If so, a question. Does it go above the inner cover ? Or do you remove the inner cover and place directly on the hive ?
Thanks -- Fuzzy

If you're talking about the dark brown plastic hive top feeder, I have one. I used it last year, and I removed the inner cover and placed it on the hive.

If you are talking about the plastic brown feeder........Place it on the top broad box. Place an empty super on top of the feeder. It will sit down on top of the plastic lip on the outside of the feeder. Then place the inner and outer cover on the top of the empty super. Make sense??????? If you dont place the empty super over the feeder and you place the outer cover directly on the feeder you will have no ventilation at the top of the hive.

Thanks guys & gals. It is the brown plastic feeder. I don't use them but we have a new beekeeper starting a package and I wasn't sure. I'll make sure it is done properly.
