Hi everyone I am from Lexington, South Carolina and I am new to beekeeping and i just got my 4 hives March 31st. So far they are going great. I also have one question. After you remove the queen cage from the hive when is the next time you check your hive?

Welcome, after the queen has been released and the cage removed, I normally check back in a week or so to see if she has started laying. Being that its your first hives, youll probally have the urge to take a quick peek at them more often than needed. :D It wont hurt a thing. Youll learn alot watching them build up the first year.
