I'm expanding from 9 hives to 20 hives this year. I would also like to up grade to a 20 frame radial extractor. I'm having a hard time picking one because Ive never used one. Because of the expense I'd love some feedback. I like the look of the Deluxe Power Extractor from Brushy Mt.. German made and looks very sturdy. Other than that I have'nt a clue. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Got my maxant 20 frame model 1400 pl today and am very impressed with the construction of the machine. I was a welder fabricator for 14 years and in those years have seen some real shoty work done by some very famous manufacturers and I can tell you there is no shoty work on that machine. And they put the customer first I found them a delight to do business with.:D

Jason, you are in CT, you may consider driving to our factory in Ayer, Ma and looking at a few yourself!

I have heard great things about the maxant extractors. I have a dadant radial ss 20 and love it, but never owned a maxant. However, I might be willing to trade it on a Maxant <hint hint> :D if the price was right!

Thats not a bad deal on ebay at all! We have changed them a little, still a great bang for the buck!

But we all know the only price that matters on ebay is the last one. I say go for new.

I have never owned a Maxant either, they look like great machine's but for now I am very happy with my Kelly 12-20.

Wow what are the odds. LOL. Current bid is 610. Thats half price. But unless I have a way to see it, I'm going new. I'm not a sight unseen kind of guy. What a tease.
