I am looking to try to do some boiling of some bottom board in paraffin.
Never done it so any advice will be appreciated, equipment, places you can buy them and so on.
Thanks Gilman

Paraffin is probably bought the cheapest at a craft store (no shipping). I bought my gum rosin from Mann Lake, but there are cheaper places. A search on beesource on "dipping" would probably get you the discussions you'd like to read.

Thanks MB. I did a search on beesource and read the previous threats on the matter.

I used wax and rosin last year but it costs a bit much. This year I am using paraffin. I was patient and got a good price on ebay. As far as the dipping part I think it is the only way to go. Really no trick to it.

Bleta,
Dadant in Waverly has has it. I've bought hundreds of pounds over the past few years from them.
