OK, so I got invited to a Purdue Bee Day last Spring with a friend who is just getting into bees.

I thought nothing of it...I threw my old white coveralls and bee veil in the trunk, and away I went. I got to the site, and EVERYONE was wearing their sparkling new suits, lol.

My suit---the elastic left the ankles and wrists YEARS ago. I've got a hole here and there, but nothing major. My veil....well it's rusted through in a couple of spots, but not a problem. Those bees at Purdue were like PUPPY bees, anyway....I would get one in my veil, walk a few steps away, and set her free. The zipper doesn't work any more either.

When I ordered the suit through TSC many years ago, I got the wrong size, so it's way too big for me. I just dealt with it.

Most of the time, unless the hive is hot, I'll just use the veil and goatskin gloves anyway.

However, I may have an opportunity coming up for a cut-out. Thought I might make the plunge and get a NEW suit.

What do you have for a suit, and what are the pros and cons to it?

I'm a newbie, so my opinion doesn't amount to much, but the Ultra Breeze I got is the cat's pajamas.

Where did ya'll get your ultra-breeze suits? How much and do you have a link you could post?

If I read a few posts down I could have figured it out! Thanks anyway....

Jeff.......... Ultra Breeze is the suit Magnet Man
from this site makes. Uses a similar fabric as
the Golden Bee suit.

PM Mag Man or see one of his post as he has
a link to his web site.

I typically only wear a veil....but I have enlisted the help of my son who is quite afraid of getting stung. I don't want him to turn away from Bk'ing so I am planning on buying him a good suit, at least a one piece jacket/veil that will last while he becomes accustomed to working with the bees.

I am going to have to dye my suit pink in order to stay competitive. :D

My favorite "suit" is the Ultra Breeze jacket. The Ultra Breeze suit would be my second choice and the Golden Bee Products suit my third. All three are excellent choices. The jacket is the most convenient.

Don't worry, Magnet Man! I resisted the pink suit, and ordered from you!:)
