How to put Plug in Bucket feeder ?

Hi, A newbie here... I just got a bucket feeder from betterbee. It has the top with a hold drilled in it, and the feeder plug is in the bucket. Do I need to put it in the lid with glue, or just push it in ? Seems like it would need to be glued in to hold it in place.
