Anyone want to ski northern Vermont? Smugglers Notch or Jay Peak? Maybe Sutton, Quebec? Another month and a half of winter here.
Come on...It'll put some color in yer cheeks.

That'll do it. Sutton, Quebec was $40 Canadian last time I went. Buy a pass after noon on a weekday, and you get another weekday free.
Sunapee has some specials.
32 bucks for Sunday 12-4 if you're a NH Resident or Magic Mondays for 40 bucks all day and 2 for 1 Wednsdays.

Cross country is nice. You get out in the country, and fresh air. Lots of good exercise. Sunshine and vitimin D.
I'm out in the fields every day, for 8 months a year, working bees, growing nucs and queens. If I get much more exercise, it's gonna do me in. You have to understand what downhill skiing is to me. It's how I heal. It's head medicine!
So, what's head medicine??
OK, true story. I give an old friend I haven't seen in 20+ years, a quart of honey, and a really nice cut comb. He lives in a little hovel of a one room, in Burlington. All the windows and door covered with blankets at 2 PM. Him just out of bed, hobbling about in his disjointed body. The room is 90 degrees and 90% humidity in December. And, this guy's become a wicked hypocondriact. Shows me all his pills and suplements such. Tells me of his near death experiences. Shows me his...do I really have to see this?? He asks me if the honey is medicine?
I get a huge smile, and say it sure is. It's "Head Medicine." You eat it. You smile. Your head is alllll better.
Ahh, life is good.
