I was wondering how much a hobbiest beekeeper with about 40 hives can get for doing local pollination services to local small farms in terms of per hive for a specific about of time?
Thank you

Fifty to one hundred dollars per colony. Depending on the crop and the grower.

We pollenate watermelons in Northcentral Florida and we got $50 per hive with a 4 hive minimum (one 4 way pallet) last year. I am going up to $55 this year because the fuel cost has went up too. The average time is 3 months and it cost more if they are to be moved over 50 miles. I would also advise contracts for yours and growers protection. You can find one online and modify it for yourself thats where I got ours. Now as another post mentioned you can get more so I would see what others in your area are chargeing to be inline with the local prices. You don't wanna be to cheap and make your fellow beekeepers mad at you or to high to be out of business before you even start.
