I was in Court once (another story for another time) when I witnessed a hearing in which the guy who was charged w/ DUI had been driving his flatbed wagon, drawn by mules, along the side of the road. The Judge asked the Policeman what gave him reason to suspect that the man had been drinking. He said, "Well, Your Honor, when he tossed the beer can over his shoulder into the bed of the wagon I figured that was drivin' under the influence."

True story. Honest.
