Ok, had a bunch of friends over this afternoon and the mead was flowing.
Had to perform a few beek tasks after a few glasses of mead and despite a dearth (I'm feeding now) the girls were ALL very WICKED pleasant this afternoon....this was despite 2 days of near perpetual rain that would have normally set them into a STINGFEST earlier in the summer.
I would SWEAR that they were SWOONING as a I breathed on them after a "small" bottle of mead and were pleasant as pie....certainly my breath post mead was better than normal....from a bees perspective at least.....

Hmmmm. Never tried it, but I may have to now.:) Or maybe I should put out some margaritas in flat dishes then go check them after the dishes are all empty.:)

I will try to be more considerate of my poll option in the future.
WHAT was I THINKING (clearly I wasn't because my brain was supersaturated with tasty mead) :doh:

My bees are my work. I don't and never have gone to work drunk.
Not to say I don't drink. But you can count the number of alchoholic beverages I have in a year on two hands or less. Not that I'm bragging or feeling superior. It's just something I got over early in life.
As far as guns go. The number of times I fire a firearm in a decade can be counted on one hand or less. I don't recall firing a rifle since 1984 in Wmsbg., VA.
