I don't work my bees nearly as often as most beeks, so my habits are not typical. Usually after I've used it 3 or 4 times.

EEWWWWWW! Remind me never to work bees alongside you. ;)

JPK, you left out one choice.
Only after it is stiff enough from sweat and grime to stand in the corner.

If you dealt with my bees, you'd be inclined to wear a suit of armor.;)

:no:Yea I did that once washed all ours. Maybe 6 jumpsuits and as many jacket types. They were real dirty and smelly never been done. Anyway after the wife got through with me I'll never do that again in her machine. At least that was what I was told among other things I rather not mention. I usually wear long shirt & tuell veil anyway and sneak the smelly shirts in with the other stuff now. Just another beekeeping tip learned by someone the hard way.

Just hang it on a tree when a good rain is expected.

The one I would have checked if available would be
5. Oh, you're supposed to wash them?

My "suit" consists of an old long sleeve shirt and a pair of painter's pants.
Every so often I hang them out on the clothsline in the rain

None of the above. I wash my Inspector jacket every 10 weeks, or 5 inspections. Which ever comes first. I dont wear a suit.

Yep, me too, kinda. I wear white painter's pants and a long sleeve pale blue cotton shirt. They get washed in the weekly washing. I also wear a straw hat with no viel, the hat never gets washed, and I don't wear gloves either so no need to wash those either. :D

Suit is a 4 letter word, right up there with work! :D

Whenever it gets sticky or smelly. That might be once a week or after every cut-out, (3 x per week), depends if it is an overhead cut-out. Overheads are the worst with all that honey raining down on you, by the time I'm done I am soaking wet with sweat and honey.

I like a clean suit just like clean sheets on the bed, if you want to waller in your own stink, go ahead.

i wash my suit after each yard site. Or after treating a yard say for fall treatment and then i have to go to another yard and pull honey.
Sometimes it gets washed 2x a week, other times, every day of use if its been real hot out.
Last thing i want to do is cross contaminate honey with treatments or cross contaminate problems between yard sites.
