I was talking to another guy who used to us Certan, and he said when it first came out, they recommended spaying foundation when it was put on so that the bees would incorporate it into the wax. He said though that he thought that they didnt recommend spraying it on the drawn brood comb. Can anyone shed any light on this info. Thanks!

The only comb that wax moths will attack is the drawn brood comb. They don't actually eat wax but live on the cacoons etc. I've never heard of what you suggest, but I doubt it. I do it every year but am not absolutely sure I need to. Anyone?
