National Honey Board Industry Statistics Report, Description: Total assessments collected on imported honey purchases year to date.
Last Updated: August 28, 2008

Shows the figures 1.039.200( DOLLARS ) THE SAME FOR JUNE AND JULY. so there were no assessments or imports in july? This I think would be highly unlikely ...... or is the world running out of honey......especially white honey ?

I may be wrong but ,this is my view. My last transaction report ended as of 5/21/08. What that means is that after 5/21/08, transactions will be reported to the new Packers and Dealers Board. I am not sure of the proper name because their exemption pounds are much higher that what I pack and I don't clutter my brain with unneeded facts.

White honey may be tighter, but bakery price was dropped by about 20 cents a pound recently here in good ole FLA/USA by Groeb farms.
We're kinda held hostage for a local place to sell if you have less than a truckload amount. So I have to think at least they found some cheap honey across the pond from somewhere.

Several people share that opinion . the Honey Packers,Dealers and Stealers board took over the reporting in july
