I have some weak nucs. Would it hurt to start feeding them pollen patties now?

Your best bet is to start feeding now.;)

You can feed the pollen pellets in the comb, spray 1:1 syrup over the pollen, and place the comb next to the brood nest.
You may want to do this towards dark to prevent robbing.
Good luck,

I started today. I used A-6 recipe ,they jumped on it. I'll get a picture up later.

I have low pollen stores as well.

Why are they weak? Pollen should get them going. And not a bad idea for your area. They need to build up now for winter.

I was about to order some pollen patties today but got side tracked and went and watched the entrace's tonight. And with the recent rains we finally got this week, flowers are starting to bloom and they were bringing in pollen like I have never seen them do it before.

I am ordering some tomorrow. Just to have incase I need it.

I sometimes think I might take out a lawn chair and a drink and just sit and relax and watch them.

Everyday I go there and watch them... most relaxing--- And amazing.

I think about the travels of one bee.... she goes it alone... flies alone... worked alone... flies back alone... and watching her return as she lands, and enters the hive. Then I wonder how many trips she makes a day... alone...
