I have a weak hive that has one deep and two supers. Went in yesterday and found wax moth larvae in the comb of the top super. Question: Can I take this super, which has only a few frames of honey, freeze it to kill the wax moth, and then place in onto a strong hive to clean out and fill? I have two good hives that still need to take honey from, so I plan to just replace one of the good supers for this frozen one. I need some advice quick as I do not want the wax moth to ruin my comb. many thanks

Dont forget to get some BT from Sundance and treat the frames/comb before putting it in the hive again!
