Since i checkerboard and have a box of empty frames on the bottom in February, I would like to replace 5 of the older and empty ones at that time in each hive. I'm feeding a hive now to produce those frames and I'm wondering if this will work. When the frames are drawn and partly filled with sugar water, before they are capped, can I replace that box with a box of foundation and move the drawn box above the inner cover? Will they use that sugar water to draw the new box below and leave me with empty frames above?
