Remember, this is still all "in process." Nothing is final yet. Just trying different combinations. I don't like high contrast either so rest assured that the final scheme will be pleasing on the eyes.

We're all different - I think the new color scheme is harder on the eyes. The blue shades were much better for me.

I believe it does. It's on my list of stuff to do. I will never be able to settle on a scheme that everyone will be happy with. Too this, too that. In the end, I will err on the side of bland verses splashy, for sake of reading. I find sage green, tan and grey to be very pleasant on my eyes, like the old board. If I load in a bunch of style templates, members can choose their own scheme.

It takes me a couple of days for my eyes to adjust well to a color scheme before I decide if I like it or not.
