never in a million years did I ever think about one hitting near me.
Earlier this week I mentioned to my wife that the summer storms seemed a bit stronger
and lasting longer and then on Thursday <> bam!
I have hunting property about a mile north of the site and will go check on "the trees" tomorrow, Thankfully - Just trees!

Pictures show quite a powerfull storm for NH.
It's nice to see a huge group of people just jump right in an start helping with the clean up and restoring services.

Global warming?

Aye that's getting pretty close to home. Our local news was all over the story.

Went up to my hunting/wood lot and found that the tornado ran the entire length of my property. The tornado ran the property line between me and my hunting buddy's.
Path is 50 yards to 100 yards wide and then a huge open area of about 25 acres.
Every tree is down. Some are snapped off 25 feet up and others
pushed over with huge root balls. Tree litter is 8 to 10 feet high. Straight line walking is impossible.

He went looking for his tree stand and can't find it. He could even find the tree.
Landmarks that we used for years to guide us through the woods <> GONE.

It will never be the same.
