A local beekeeper/honey producer was featured on the local new channel

It so happens that I had the opportunity to try his honey a couple of years ago; I personally thought it was fairly average but his sales tell a different story. What impresses me is that if you look at his well-done website http://www.roundrockhoney.com/ you will see that he sells 1-pound jars for $10 and 3-pound jars for $20. Of course, the client base in Austin is much more willing to pay those kinds of prices than many other may be, but it is still impressive.

tecumseh: might I guess that his clients don't live under the 6th street bridge (and we ain't talkin' about several million bats here)?

I talked to a honey reseller at a roadside stand in Tyler last week. He was charging $10 a pint and $19 on quarts. He said all of his sales were Dallas people, locals won't pay that much.
