Fox news got caught airing video labeled "Happening Now"
stating it was today in Ohio. McCain looked really good and
almost youthful. He should of.......... the video they were
pawning off as "Happening Now" was 8 years old!!:eek:

This after they got caught altering New York Times reporter
Jacques Steinberg and editor Steven Reddicliffe's photos
while calling them "attack dogs". The journalists' teeth had
been yellowed, their facial features exaggerated, and portions
of Reddicliffe's hair moved further back on his head.

Now that's fair and balanced.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Nothing new here.

About as balanced as Olbermann's cursing rant on Bush a while back or Rather's faked documents?

NBC, CBS and ABC have been worshiping BHO for over a year now. You didn't see them send their anchors to tag along with McCain when he went over seas...

Ranting in an editorial fashion, although biased and
slanted, does not cross the ethical line of digitally
doctoring photos and mislabeling video clips.

Folks, what do you think of 'fake interviews' by a Presidential candidate? It seems to me what Fox allegedly did is very small potatoes in comparison. See:

How about the free concerts in Portland and the Free Concert along with free beer and Brats at the monologue Barrack Hussein Bin Laden I Wanna Be a Euro Rock Star Obama gave in Germany?

What a fraud!

Yes, I do not worry about a news organization that makes a mistake now and then. They all do and most are not as balanced as Fox.

It does concern me when a presidential candidate commits intentional fakery.

There are two separate incidents here. BO being deceptive does not justify Fox or any other news organization doctoring photos or misleading people. If they are guilty, then they need to be called to account for it.

Exactly Jeffery.......... but the scramble to cloud and obfuscate
the issue is predictable.

Just trying to point out that most news sources spin. To be sure the big four do.

Also trying to understand why hold Fox's feet to the fire and not the others?

Right is right, and wrong is wrong, regardless of who you are. Like the Good Book says, you have to remove the log from your own eye before you can remove the speck from your brother's eye. Otherwise, what are you but a hypocrite?

And, if a news person or organization screws up, like Dan Rather, the "market" will take care of it quickly just as Fox is losing credibility here on Tailgater.

However, we are stuck with a President for four years and he/she has vast impact on our lives and it is very difficult to impeach one, especially if his party is in control of the House. So we need to be very careful about Obama. He will not be impeached with the Dems in control of the House.

However, impeachable offenses do not concern me with Obama. What does concern me, are the things he will attempt to do under the guise of helping the people, which is SOP for the Dems.

I saw a poll today on Fox that dealt with the donations from reporters to political candidates. The overwhelming majority of donations were to Democrats, including the donations from Fox reporters.
