During periods when one prefers to feed a light syrup and one desires to feed HBH, fumagiilan, or whatever; should the standard dose per gallon be adjusted from what is recommended for a heavy syrup?

For example if one were to add "X" amount of grams or ml of material to a barrel of heavy syrup and add the same amount of said material to a barrel of light syrup...wouldn't the resultant products stored on the comb after dehydration by the bees have much different concentrations and possible effects?

I would guess there could be upsides and downsides to this depending on the materials and goals.

What you are thinking JBJ? Talking about nosema treatment? We are going to try a concentrated spray... double strength.

I suppose it is a stoichiometry question. With any of the possible additives the resultant ratio of stored syrup to active material could be different than the same recipe added to a heavy syrup. One could could end up with a strong mixture stored on the comb after the moisture is evaporated.
