Man!!! I wish I'd known they were for open sales. I thought he was only doing up a few special orders..How much were they going for,Derek1?
Rick

Oh, I got in my evodia tree seeds...I intend to go ahead and sprout them, so they can overwinter in the ground.

Don't count your chickens (nucs) yet. Queen rearing is slow in this heat. I have a batch in the cell bar now. We'll see what they do with them.

I don't think they are for open sales. You gotta remember he is first on my list, and I am last on his. I let Ross know I would like a couple of Nucs if he had some extra. And that I was gonna post I wanted to buy some Nucs on here. Because I did not if he had some for me or not. We didn't discuss price. I just told him to let me know if he had some late summer/fall nus. I got the idea of buying fall nucs from here.

Evodia Tree? I have never herd or seen this tree. After this post I will google it. Is that a tree best suited for the east texas soil. I always sprout my acorns with damp wood chips in a zip lock. I place them in the frig for about 6-8 weeks and they sprout nice. Then I place in a bucket w/ ribs (not that kind you eat) to let them grow. Ribs so the roots don't tend to circle. Or I plant directly into the ground in the spot I want it to grow.

Derek1,
There are two different threads about them in either Beekeeping, or in Bk101 They should do well around here---especially in your area.

No, I understand that this is a deal that you first in line for , and would not think of horning in....I do have scruples that bind me to proper manners.
Regards,
Rick
