I have a freind who has many 5 gallon cans he would like to sell. These are the old type metal cans. Brand new. Never been used. Maybe 100 or so. Don't know a price. is there interest in such cans?

Don't know. They are the 5 gallon cans that beekeepers used to ship honey in. Maybe some still do. Maybe someone on this board knows if they are food grade. I will check if the seller knows.

The 5 gallon cans are food grade as far as honey is concerned. Especially if they are new/unused ones. I don't know if many folks still use them but I don't see why you shouldn't.
I'd take a few, but the shipping is gonna be expensive......
Will you ship them to me in FL?
If yes, How much for the cans? I assume they have airtight lids included, right? I am also assuming that they still look new - no rust etc.
Can you tell me rough dimensions of a box of 5 of them and how much it would weigh so I can figure the shipping?
