Ive noticed on 3 occasions in the last week of the bees discarding a larvae,
I was unable to tell if it was still alive or not but looked 80-90% mature

could I have chilled the brood?
its warm here and I am always in and out with my business

not sure whats goin on but willbe inspecting in a few days or soand wanted to know what to be lookin for

thanks!

It sounds like they're hygienic bees, taking care of larvae that don't develop properly. If you're only seeing 1 or 2 a day, compared to the 1500 hatching each day, your hive is doing fine.
