If I take a frame of brood from 1 hive and give it to another, can I leave the nurse bees on the frame or will that cause a fight?

shouldnt cause a fight. make sure you dont have the queen on the frame when you move it.
I agree, most of the adult bees will fly home while you are moving the frame anyway, so all that is left are the nurses anyway.
The won't fight.

I wouldnt send a full frame of bees into a new hive, could cause a fight,
a quick shake will dislodge most of the older ones, and the rest hanging on will not cause any disturbance.
That or mist them down with sugar water from a spritzer, by the time the new hives bees have cleaned them down, they will mingle fine.
