I have about 20 hives too many:
* Hive config is 1 deep + 1 medium (1 1/2 story) with screened bottom, migratory top
* Screened bottom is home-made with a slot for sticky board mite monitoring
* Wooden-ware is usually painted and in good to excellent condition
* Hives are full of healthy, small-cell bees (most originated as "feral" swarms or cut-outs)
* Comb is either 4.9 wax or pf-100 or pf-120 or a combination of these
* Hives may have a few SHB and a few mites but are thriving
* Hives have never been treated with anything (no chemicals, no acids, nothing at all)
* Bee temperament ranges from "sweetest under any conditions" to "always a little feisty"
* I'll make sure each has enough honey stored to overwinter in central/eastern NC
Cost: $220 each, pickup only
