If you have another hive you can take a frame with eggs from it, put it into the queenless one and the girls will make a replacement queen. It'll set you back in time compared to buying a mated queen but is another alternative.

Try contacting Velbert (Williams, I think is his last name). He is supposed to have some Minnesota Hygenic Italians for sale about now. I have not purchased from him, but have heard good things and talked to him by phone. Good guy as far as I can tell. And a fellow Okie, so you can't go wrong.
